BRAINY STORM

The unsought adventure in St. Louis

It was april 10th 2014 I left the comforts of home and headed to the amtrak station in the loop of Chicago. I caught the 301 at 7am. i was a man on a train heading South West to St. Louis. it wasn't the first time on a train but it was the first time on a long distance trip with a beverage cart amenity at my disposal. As soon the train departed and left Union station my eyes were filled colorful murals and graffiti art. The symbolic tagging on bricked walls and stationary box car trains seemed to go on for miles. I also noticed that the area between my train and the graffiti resembled a no mans land of littered trash and negligence. There was a feeling of reassurance as the train picked up speed. It was smooth sailing from there for the next 4 hours.
It was about noon when i turned and saw the missouri river it was an immense body of water that was truly a sight to see even if it was at a glimpse of a glance.

The metallic reflection of the gateway arch was an unmistakable sight that let me know of my arrival to the city of St. louis. It is truly majestic as it is a visual respite from jagged edges and blocked skyscraper landscapes. I had made it to St. Louis now it was time to un board the train and start my adventure by orienting myself and finding out just exactly where it was I ended up.

The Unsought man's journal

I sit inside a sound that represents the nothingness of everything. 

time to pretend is in my ears a track from MGMT it reminds me to 

keep going and always take only what I need. Control of anything 

is a meditation to the unsought man. What is it to be able to control?

Is it the ability to mold and create or is the application that of the brain. 

The heart is in control of circulation, the liver in control of cleansing and 

recycling blood.the brain controlling thoughts or so it thinks. 

THE SECRET GARDEN

 The initial day that marks the end of a week was a day that had a sight to see. Inside the building that Marshall Field's building they call nickname Macy's was a secret garden on the 9th floor. The exhibit was captivating. As I approached the scenery I met the sounds of grace. Gentle fiddles and song birds. I was in an orchestra of color and amazement. Bubbling fountains dribbling their sounds into the air. Lights played subtly, assisting in the creation of shadows. Grace and beauty fluttered in the path of my fujifilm lens and were captured with my index finger. In a setting of floral patterns there were mesmerizing details.I am thankful to have witnessed such thing. My mother was the person who pointed out the event. She urged me to go and see what she saw. I ran into her that same day in the garden. We had lunch like we did when I was a boy. This place was my playground i say. My mother always brought me with her on her adventures downtown. She is an explorer. I owe gratitude to her because she set out and let life come as it may be. She taught me indirectly to always be aware. I'd run around the displays as she tried on dresses in the fitting room. Then we would go to the lower level to and have a bite to eat. My favorite experience was riding the elevator to the walnut room on the 7th floor there was an ice cream shop where I had Moose track ice cream for the first time.

I have taken the appropriate steps to apply the state of the art I do possess
